Meet the lady who created Goodwood House of Beauty.
Debbie's passion/dream went long back knowing that one day she would run a friendly clinic focusing on skin care that offers high quality treatments at affordable prices. But whilst in the UK my Beauty pathway was not lining as it should,
and my career path took me in a different direction of working within some of the top 4/5* Hotels - Ramada, Hilton to name a few and I believe that the experience gained from supervisor/managerial roles has given me my background
knowledge and valuable tool information on how to run a business.
And this vision/passion was stronger than ever once both Debbie and her husband decided to leave the UK
and emigrated to New Zealand 2006.
Arriving in New Zealand knowing nobody.. was daunting to say the least!
However after coming this far I was determined I was going to make my dream happen, so juggling school runs and a household I made my passion become a reality.
I carried out my studies at Aoraki Polytechnic's Christchurch campus, studying
Certificate in Beauty Treatments (Level 4), City and Guilds International Diploma passing with Distinctions.
My training has not stopped here I am continually embracing Post Graduate Training and commit to gaining further knowledge within this ever changing industry that offers you up-to-date technology and science treatments
that focus on ensuring you receive that best results, and be rest assured professionalism is a high priority which is why Debbie is a member of New Zealand Registered Beauty Therapist Association.
And this is when Goodwood House of Beauty was created.
Goodwood Close's first and only private based beauty retreat, tucked away offering tranquility.
